Your child's biggest progress happens when skills carry over to home and family life. Our parent training gives you practical, confidence-building tools to support your child every day — so gains made at our center don't stay at the center.

What is parent training?

Parent training is coaching for caregivers, led by your child's BCBA. It's a recognized, valuable part of quality ABA — and it's built around your family's real routines and goals, not a one-size-fits-all class.

Why it matters

When parents and therapists use the same strategies, children learn faster and progress lasts. Families also tell us that understanding the "why" behind behavior lowers stress and makes daily life smoother.

What you'll learn

Understanding behavior — what happens before and after, and why
Using positive reinforcement effectively
Prompting new skills, then fading your help
Building routines and visual schedules that work
Embedding practice into everyday moments — meals, dressing, play
Staying consistent across caregivers and settings

How it works with us

We set goals together, coach you around your schedule, and adjust as your child grows. Whether it's a first-then routine, encouraging your child to request what they want, or following a toileting plan at home, we make it doable.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need to participate?

We'll set a cadence that fits your family; consistency matters more than long hours.

I'm already exhausted — will this add work?

Our goal is the opposite: clearer strategies that make daily routines calmer, not busier.

What if my partner or my child's grandparents do things differently?

We can coach multiple caregivers so everyone's on the same page.
